Burrito Bowls
Ingredients:
- 1lb Lean Ground Beef (can be subbed with ground chuck, turkey, etc. whatever your preference of ground beef
- 1/4 onion finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 package of your favorite taco seasoning (feel free to make your own!)
- 1 cup of rice
- Whatever toppings you like! I usually use tomatoes, green onions, avocado, and cheese
Cooking Steps:
- Step 1: Finely chop onion and garlic
- Step 2: Heat oil over medium heat
- Step 3: Once oil is hot, add your onions to saute
- Step 4: Once onions have softened add in garlic
- Step 5: Once onions and garlic are fragrant, add in ground meat
- Step 6: Brown ground beef. Allow the meat to get a good sear on one side before breaking it up with your spoon. This promotes a deeper flavor
- Step 7: Once meat is fully cooked, add 1/2 cup of water and contents of seasoning packet. Mix together.
- Step 8: Lower heat to low and simmer for a few minutes
- Best served hot over rice with whatever toppings you like
Lasagna
Ingredients:
- 1lb Ground beef
- 1/2lb spicy Italian Sausage
- 1/2 onion finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves finely chopped
- 1 jar of your favorite tomato sauce
- 12 Lasagna noodles
- 15oz. ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
Cooking Steps:
- Step 1: Finely chop onion and garlic
- Step 2: Heat oil over medium heat
- Step 3: Boil water and cook lasagna noodles according to package instructions
- Step 4: Once oil is hot, add your onions to saute
- Step 5: Once onions have softened add in garlic
- Step 6: Once onions and garlic are fragrant, add in ground meat
- Step 7: Brown ground beef. Allow the meat to get a good sear on one side before breaking it up with your spoon. This promotes a deeper flavor
- Step 8: Add Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to meat once broken up
- Step 9: Add tomato sauce to meat once fully cooked
- Step 10: Add tomato sauce to meat once fully cooked
- Step 11: Preheat oven to 375 degrees farenheit
- Step 12: Assemble lasagna. Cover bottom of pan with sauce, then add noodles, meat, and a layer of cheese. Evenly distribute ingredients through 3 layers.
- Step 13: Top with mozzarella and parmesan
- Step 14: Bake for 35 minutes covered, remove and bake for 10 minutes uncovered
Wings
Ingredients:
- 1 package pre cut chicken wings
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp cayenne (add more of less depending on your desired spice level
- 1 1/2 cups of your favorite wing sauce
Cooking Steps:
- Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400 degree farenheit
- Step 2: Pat dry chicken wings
- Step 3: Season your wings by tossing them in a bowl with onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and cayenne
- Step 4: Coat wings with baking powder
- Step 5: Add wings to a baking pan with a wire rack to ensure wings are evenly cooked
- Step 6: Bake for 25 minutes or until internal temp is 165 degrees farenheit.
- Step 7:Toss in your favorite wing sauce and serve hot.
